 Blogs and Wikis.

Anyone can set up there own blog or wiki for any purpose. Its fun and rewarding and can be a great learning tool for students and teachers. These videos explain what they are and how they work.

This is an example of a Wiki I have created for studying Gold in Stage 3.

Blogs are online publishing tools for everyone. Teachers are able to set up blogs for student use, thus creating an engaging writing space for online publishing.

Here is an example (from Caddie's Creek PS) of how a blog can be used in the classroom to engage and enthuse students in a topic of study. It uses Edublogs which is highly recommended for NSW teachers. Anyone can access and blog using Edmodo as well.
